Terms of Service

§1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using StatementDiff MCP (“StatementDiff”, “we”, “us”), or by connecting via our local Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use immediately.
§2 Not a Financial, Legal, or Tax Advisor
StatementDiff is an independent software tool designed to parse text coordinates from bank statements and calculate mathematical differences against CSV exports. StatementDiff is not a bank, depository institution, broker-dealer, financial adviser, fiduciary, certified public accountant (CPA), or tax specialist. The service is provided solely for diagnostic and personal bookkeeping assistance. You are responsible for independently verifying all generated CSV entries prior to importing them into Monarch Money, YNAB, or any third-party accounting system.
§3 Plans, Payments & Merchant of Record
We offer both one-time credit passes and recurring subscriptions:
Allows client-side checksum verification and export of up to the first 25 missing transactions per statement at zero cost.
Grants 20 statement reconciliation credits. Credits do not expire and are decremented atomically upon full-statement CSV export.
Provides unlimited monthly statement reconciliations, TSX portfolio features, and priority AI Self-Heal. Automatically renews annually unless cancelled prior to the renewal date via your billing portal.
Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments Inc., who handles payment processing, customer service billing inquiries, VAT/sales tax calculation, and refunds.
§4 Acceptable Use & Quotas
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the atomic credit ledger or entitlement validation checks.
- Exceed or bypass rate limits, including the 15-call daily fair-use cap on the AI Self-Heal endpoint.
- Use StatementDiff to process fraudulent, counterfeit, or stolen bank statements.
§5 Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
STATEMENTDIFF IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL STATEMENTDIFF, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA CORRUPTION IN THIRD-PARTY BUDGETING SOFTWARE, OR ACCOUNT INACCURACIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO STATEMENTDIFF IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
§6 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration.
Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of StatementDiff following posted revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
